Thinking Outside the Basket......

When someone thinks of sending or receiveing a gift basket the first visual that comes to mind in most cases would be a medium sized basket loaded with gourmet products with flowers and ribbons. However, there are many other "gift baskets" that we, as designers, can make. For example, I have baskets located on my site http://www.thinkingofyou-giftbaskets.com that are, in most cases, traditional. However, changing the container and enhancements on any basket will make it extremely different and unique. By taking normal components and pairing it with a different container such as a purse, bag, pail, can, pot, dish, or any container, and using enhancements like trinkets, accessories, etc, the gift can transform into something amazing and custom.
